Digital PlaySpace, Inc. Raises Seed Financing

Virtual Indie Backs Leading Executive For Interactive Kids Market

Los Angeles, April 3rd, 2008 – Digital PlaySpace, Inc.™ announced today that it has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding through a collaboration with Virtual Indie, a leading investor and manager of start-up virtual world businesses, part of the Indie Media group.

Digital PlaySpace, Inc. is dedicated to the creation of safe, engaging online play experiences for children of all ages. With a focus on well-established and specific play patterns, Digital PlaySpace, Inc. will integrate offline and online components to enhance play. Mark Rowland of Virtual Indie will join Digital PlaySpace’s board of directors.

“The virtual world business for the kids market has experienced rapid growth over the last 12 months," said Rowland. "Given Jesyca’s long-track record of developing successful interactive products for children, in particular pre-teen girls, we were thrilled to help her launch Digital PlaySpace, Inc.”

The founder and CEO of Digital PlaySpace, Jesyca C. Durchin, has produced a series of leading media projects (games, rides and films) for top brands such as THQ ,Buena Vista Games, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Mattel Entertainment.

“I am confident that Digital Playspace will be able to focus on a particular market desire for the creation of beautiful and meaningful interactive play experiences. Our partnership with Virtual Indie will make this desire a reality.”

The proceeds from the financing will be used to develop and launch Digital PlaySpace, Inc.’s first project, a virtual play experience focused on girls ages 8-12.
